John is first and foremost a father and husband, and enjoys nothing more than hanging out with the eight little chefs and his wife Jamie. He has been a youth minister, ski instructor, truck driver, cook, professional musician and a landscape designer, but for the last four years he has found his niche in web design and runs the successful firm, Kickstart Media. His secret wish is that he runs his own restaurant…maybe someday!
John got his cooking instruction at Cafe Le Francais in Boulder, Colorado under the tuteledge of Chef Jean and honed his chops working with Marriott Food Services and Tony Roma’s Restaurants. He loves food and cooking and in the desire to both spend more quality time with his family, and pass on a lifelong skill and love of food, started the premise of “Eight Little Chefs”, the Flynn family cooking night experience.
John and the Chefs are not sure where this experience is going, but wanted to document it for history and an effort to make available the trials, tribulations and great recipes that they have gone through. Hopefully this will be a tool for the Eight Little Chefs to use with their own little chefs someday!
